Over 1 year ago, Shane Dawson would collaborate with Bunny Meyer (Grav3yardgirl) and help her revive her channel. In his 3 part series, we explored her life as she opened up about her content and personal struggles she was afraid to share with her viewers. Her channel gained a second rise in viewership as many all over the internet related to her story. Today though, we see the effects of that collaboration has worn off. What happened? Today we analyze the channel of Grav3yard girl and find out why listening to the advice of successful people isn’t always wise.

She still making videos. At least it something she loves doing it looks like. I don't think she cares about the fame anymore. I'm proud for her not listening to Shane Dawson

I used to watch her, and I totally forgot her until I saw this video. One of the main reason of her fall is YouTube itself as a platform

She makes videos to make her happy and you people want her to make vids of her personal life ? Just because she is a youtuber dossent mean she can't have secrets many youtubers get famous by showing how to make slime , I hate those vids they are waste people enjoy someone making slimes more than a funny product review ,they also enjoy know "how you broke up with your boyfriend " or "how many test you have failed" and resently pranking is the trend I am so done with vids ike these, it's so lame bunch of fools pranking each other every vid it's not that she didn't grow up with her fans it's that they lost brain cells early youtubers were funy and creative now it's all about 24hours challenge, pranking , tik tok gossips or who can eat more fries useless , talentless but trust me it gets the views!

Wow, reading all these comments all I see is complain complain complain. Don’t like what she posts? Cool. Don’t tear her down just because you don’t like what she posts. There’s a lot of people who do. Literally that’s all everyone does, is complain. You guys are literally never happy. At least she’s not toxic and acts like she’s better than everyone because she has money than most. I didn’t see the Starbucks video so I don’t know what went down with that. We all have our bad times during life but you can’t keep nagging on about something. People change. Learn how to let things go. Also I see a lot of people complaining about how loud and obnoxious she is. While that’s what you THINK.... it’s not true for a lot of people. I honestly find it relaxing. I am very much the opposite of her. So I like to watch someone who has the opposite energy as me. It makes me happy. This is such a negative comment section and honestly I’m disappointed. YouTubers are real people with real feelings. You guys go on talking about her as if she’s not a real person. And no I’m not some super fan of her. I just enjoy her content and isn’t rude to someone who doesn’t deserve it. You guys watch one video and think you know her. It’s honestly humorous. Such ignorant people 🤢

For me, the main factor to grow on the Internet is LUCK. I've had a youtube channel for 5 years, where I upload pretty consistently, and all comments are positive. But someway, it doesn't grow at all. I have 30k subscribers which is not bad, but for 5 years of effort, it is nothing. I studied digital marketing a lot, even have a diploma on it, and the only thing I can come up with is that, even if you follow every single advice, you might not be successful. That's how the internet works

She's formulaic honestly and didn't grow with her audience. If she's happy doing what she's doing, great. But hearing her crying rants of how she wants to be herself makes it seems like...ya numbers matter to her.

I love bunny as a person. she's got such a wonderful and kind soul. I just think there's more of a struggle for her than people understand. it kinda seems like she's not really doing what she likes anymore. I do wish people wouldn't be so hard on her and call her annoying and boring, but we don't live in a perfect world. I really did enjoy her wreck it Wednesdays and her fashion videos. I think if she reverts back to that her channel would grow again. YouTube is definitely a difficult platform and I don't think people really understand that.

I used to watch Graveyard girl's channel back in the day and I really enjoyed it, but after a few years her content just became boring. I liked the "Does This Thing Really Work" videos when she would feature all kinds of different products, like the Soda Stream, Gyro bowl and many others, including some kids' toys and some beauty products, but there came a point when it seemed that she stopped reviewing a wide variety of cool ,quirky items and ONLY did toys and beauty products, with the beauty products being mostly hair related, and it all became very repetitive. Other than that, she did a lot of unboxings, which can be interesting if the subject being unboxed is interesting, but she mostly did toy collectables, which I found to be so dull. Eventually, I just lost interest in her channel and stopped watching. I think Bunny is a very sweet person, but unfortunately being sweet alone is not necessarily enough to be entertaining.

I wished she would've stayed with makeup videos. She had that Tarte palette. It was a.small success. Her makeup content has dropped off, except for her reviewing Jeffree Star products. I like Bunny, but I feel like she got stuck. She was doing a few declutter videos and those were interesting. Her room she films in is so cluttered and I think she's a bit of a hoarder. It makes her videos look like a mess. I want to be interested in her content again. She makes that hard because she won't get out of her rut.

Bunny used to be one of my favorite YouTubers, I really enjoyed her look books and heels. And also the funny as seen on TV stuff. And in middle school that was awesome, but towards high school (which I’m in university now) I lost interest. If she did more fashion and lifestyle stuff I would like that. She doesn’t want to be very open about her life, but I would find her story and life very interesting because she has a great personality!

I think advice for new youtubers is always the same but no one talks about advice for youtubers who have been making videos for multiple years: your audience grows and they change. You don't have to grow and change with them but understand that some won't want to stay when your videos no longer interest them. My subscription list looks way different now than it did 3 years ago. The types of videos I'm interested in changes every couple months. Its fine

Hmm.. Bunny isn’t an aspiring youtuber though. Most of her audience (8 million+ subs) came from her paranormal, beauty guru, and fashion phases. She “evolved” into this product review phase in the 2010s and got stuck. Bunny definitely wasn’t solely a product review channel when she first started doing reviews. She mixed in sone of her old content by having an upload schedule. The tone of this video makes it seems like she was new to the scene or a new kid wanting to be a YouTuber. She’s not. She’s a seasoned youtuber whose channel just unfortunately died out when she got stuck in a rut. Shane’s channel went through the same thing.

I used to watch her and enjoy her content. However, like with any job, YOU HAVE TO PROGRESS. You can't sit and cry about how people no longer want to watch you talk to the camera when there are creators that literally travel the world, explore new cultures, share valuable information, etc. I'm sorry but I can't really feel for a person that complains about not making money/being popular when they are willing to invest such minimal effort. *also: there is the option to just accept the following you have now. If you want to keep making what YOU like and not conform to today's standards, just accept that you're not going to gain millions from it and enjoy your time. Not everyone needs to become a David Dobrik or a Jake Paul (not that I like them, but they're examples of very popular creators atm).
